Pianist • Composer • Multi-Instrumentalist

I'm a British-Georgian pianist and composer based in London. My musical journey began with classical piano at age four, evolving through jazz and expanding to multiple instruments including double bass, violin, guitar, vocals, and numerous traditional Georgian instruments. I'm most active as a pianist, particularly as a member of acclaimed modern jazz quintet Knats, and have performed and recorded with renowned artists including Geordie Greep and Eddie Chacon through multiple national tours and international appearances.
Another significant part of my experience as a pianist is in the hospitality sector, where I've worked at prestigious establishments including The Savoy, The Dorchester, Heckfield Place Hotel, and Mayfair hotel.
As a composer and producer, I create music for media across diverse contexts, from advertising and commercial work to film and TV scoring. I've collaborated most extensively with Georgian company BlueTabla, as well as contributing to a one-off advert clip for the clothing/skateboard brand Palace and Japanese brand Beams, as part of my work with Knats. These commercial works can be found in the portfolio section below.

My specialisation lies in Georgian traditional music, initially driven by a desire to retrace my heritage and weave it into my playing and writing. Over time this developed into a broader exploration of the musical language, tuning systems and contemporary potential of Georgian polyphony, which continues to inform my work across genres, from jazz performance and orchestral arranging to electronic production, often incorporating Georgian instruments and approaches to tuning.
This exploration of traditional and folk music gradually expanded into a wider curiosity about musical cultures more broadly, leading to the creation of Ancestral Tones, a platform across Instagram, TikTok and Substack where I share stories, sounds and reflections on traditional music from around the world, now followed by over 90,000 people.
From this same impulse to connect research, practice and community, I am also co-founder of Georgian Music House in London, a teaching studio and cultural centre dedicated to Georgian traditional music. Through this platform I help develop educational programmes, creative projects and collaborations that bring Georgian musical traditions into dialogue with wider contemporary practice.
I offer live performance, original composition and collaborative musical projects across a range of contexts.
This includes solo and ensemble performances for concerts, events and venues, as well as commissioned music and production for film, television, advertising and independent visual work. I also create bespoke arrangements and musical direction for artists, brands and organisations seeking a distinctive musical identity.
Through Georgian Music House , I additionally deliver workshops, lectures and collaborative sessions for schools, universities, choirs and cultural institutions, with a focus on Georgian traditional music and its dialogue with contemporary practice.
Ancestral Tones is a platform and blog I founded to celebrate and share the rich sounds, instruments, and folkloric traditions of music from around the world. What began as a simple Instagram and TikTok project has grown into a thriving global community of over 90,000 followers in just 18 months.
The substack newsletter is the latest addition to Ancestral Tones, offering deeper stories behind the music. While social media highlights sounds and snapshots, the newsletter explores the cultural roots, histories, and voices that shape each tradition. It’s a space for readers who want to connect more meaningfully with the music’s origins.

I created this online player as a gateway into Georgian polyphony through its earliest recorded voices. It remains a work in progress, but I hope it offers an accessible way to encounter this ancient musical tradition through the archival recordings that have preserved it. Feel free to explore.
